Dagney's Squirrels / d_sally_patio2 Morgan Chai 09/30/2009

Here you can see Sally grabbing her first nut. For those of you who might not know this, Squirrels cannot see directly in front of them. They see only the sides. This makes feeding them quite dangerous at first, especially given that fingers and thumbs can be mistaken for peanuts....at least that's what I've read. Usually Sally and Willy take the nuts by their little front feet then stuff them in their mouths, but this day Sally was in such a hurry. The next pic you will see why.
